One Year.

Unlike most programs, the University of Tennessee allows you to complete your Executive MBA in a single year. We developed our proprietary High Compression LearningSM method to deliver an incredible amount of knowledge and experience in the shortest possible time frame.

The course combines distance learning (about 20 hours a week for readings and assignments) with four residence periods: three (9 or 10—day) sessions on the University of Tennessee campus and one global immersion trip.

Intense? You better believe it. But innovative, dynamic, and exhilarating, too. You'll be amazed at how much you learn. And you'll make lifelong friendships that enrich your world, build your business network, and strengthen your bottom line.

Global Focus.

Our customers have spoken, and we've listened: our Executive MBA has been redesigned to emphasize strategic thinking in a global business environment.

Although our curriculum has always been strong in this area—one of our program cornerstones is the international residence period—we've made these key improvements as well:

  • More class time spent on leadership topics, plus customized evaluation of each student's leadership style and potential
  • An increased emphasis on global supply chain issues
  • Brand-new content on competitive and strategic thinking
  • More C-level guest speakers talking candidly about successes and failures
  • New deep-dive learning sessions in executive communications, supply chain, and lean enterprise

We'll give you all the tools you need to become a swift, strategic thinker with a cross-cultural perspective. It's the kind of preparation that can separate you and your business from the pack.

Customer Service.

You may be justifiably apprehensive about becoming a student again. It’s been a while since you've cracked the books, and school means time away from family and from the demands of work.

We want to reassure you: at the University of Tennessee, we do our best to anticipate your needs so that you can laser-focus on your studies. You'll be part of an intimate group that includes our dedicated staff, who will gladly help you with all the details—from having books delivered to your doorstep before you even arrive for your first residence period to ensuring you have the right size cap and gown at year's end. You'll enjoy healthy, delicious catered meals in an exclusive executive dining room. And, of course, we'll get to know your family when they come to visit and accommodate their needs whenever possible.

We pride ourselves on our highly personalized customer service. You're committed to expanding your horizons, and we’re committed to you.

Exceptional Value.

The Executive MBA program at the University of Tennessee costs $71,000 and takes only 11 months of your time. Compare that with other ranked Executive MBA programs, which typically range from $75,000 to $150,000+, and take anywhere from 18 months to two years to complete.

Even better, during your year in our EMBA program, you'll complete an applied Organizational Action Project (OAP) that tackles a real problem in your own organization with hard-hitting results. Translation? Real-world savings. Our students’ projects average an eye-popping $6.5 million return for their businesses.

The math is simple. The time is right. Go ahead and get proven results faster.
